Concern has been expressed in the local press over the application for a metal furnace at Apedale, close to the Halmer End Ward Boundary.

I give notice that Mr J Armstrong is applying to Staffordshire County Council for retrospective planning
application for change of use for part of an end of life vehicle recycling centre for smelting at
Armstrong Vehicle Recycling Ltd, Rowhurst Close, Chesterton, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
